課程目標	一、教學目標：跨領域的月經知識整合課程以人類的生理期為起點，並教授其他動物的生殖週期，讓同學以跨物種的視野，了解在生物演化上生理／生殖週期所代表的意義。在性別平權的社會，月經對生理女性的生活的影響，也是每個人都必須了解的課題。生理期的生理現象與常見婦科疾病、生理用品的種類及社會及經濟議題、在國際月經伴隨的歧視現象，都是本課程將探討的範疇。二、學生學習成效：整合及表述月經議題的科學及人文思維課程以期末報告取代期末考試，鼓勵同學團隊合作深究有興趣的月經議題，期末上台報告可以以任何形式呈現（投影片、戲劇、音樂、辯論等），書面文字協助學生整合所學知識，以小組互評鼓勵期末報告出席，並再以加分報告鼓勵學生更加了解授課議題。
課程要求	成績計算：一、出席（30%）每周填寫表單作為點名依據，缺席（含請假）超過四次為F，無故缺席未請假一次扣總分兩分二、期末現場報告（40%）期末分組主題報告，於授課現場進行，以完整度、內容豐富度、主題契合度、時間控制為評分依據，包含組間互評（5%）、老師評分（20%）。另有組內團隊合作評分項目，組內互評（20%）三、期末書面報告（15%）期末分組主題報告書面版，除原主題內容，可再針對教授評論項目及意見進行修改。四、D-day 策展（10%）（待定）期末分組主題報告二次呈現，為 D-school 舉辦之展覽，透過策展的方式重述自己組別之主題、欲達到之目的、想傳達的意念等等，給群眾聆聽。五、加分報告（5%）含指定書目閱讀心得、PSST記錄表格、月經相關主題報告等，可自由選擇。指定書目可跟助教借閱，閱讀心得與主題報告均不限格式、字數，以內容豐富度評分。

第4週	3/15	4. 月經行動-尼泊爾林念慈 (棉樂悅事工坊創辦人）念慈老師在尼泊爾當地推動婦女衛教課程，並推廣永續環保的布衛生棉。工作坊募集了在地的婦女，開始生產天然、有機、環保的布衛生棉，同時也為在地婦女提供就業機會，形似村裡的微型經濟體，一起推廣永續生活、女性賦權 ------- Period Actions in Nepal Claire Lin (Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop) Claire promotes women's health education in Nepal and advocates for sustainable and environmentally friendly cloth menstrual pads. Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop recruits local women to produce natural, organic, and eco-friendly cloth menstrual pads, providing employment opportunities for local women and creating a mini-economy within the village to promote sustainable living and women's empowerment.

第8週	4/12	7.月經貧窮／月經歧視電影欣賞（月事革名電影欣賞）黃韻如、林念慈、詹魁元、張聖琳（台大醫學、機械系、城鄉所教授、棉樂悅事工坊創辦人）「月事革命」紀錄了印度哈普爾的一群當地婦女，她們學習如何操作機器以製作低成本、可生物分解的衛生棉，並以合理的價格出售給其他女性。藉由提供基礎的衛生用品，不僅有助於改善女性衛生，也能幫助女性擺脫印度社會對於月經的禁忌，同時為鄉村的經濟未來作出貢獻。上半堂課透過欣賞電影，來探討如何透過打破社會創新事業，打破月經貧窮與歧視，更促進地方創生。下半堂課則是邀請各領域專家，用不同的角度來剖析電影，並和同學進行與談。 ------- 月事革命公播版： https://youtu.be/Lrm2pD0qofM 參考資料： https://zh.m.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E6%9C%88%E4%BA%8B%E9%9D%A9%E5%91%BD Ruby Yun-Ju Huang (NTU School of Medicine) Lin Nien-tzu (Founder of Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop) Shenglin E. End of Sentence" chronicles a group of local women in Hapur, India who learned to operate machines to produce low-cost, biodegradable sanitary pads and sell them at affordable prices to other women. By providing basic hygiene products, it not only helps improve women's health but also helps women overcome the taboo of menstruation in Indian society, while contributing to the economic future of rural areas. In the first half of the class, we will explore how to break through social innovation and overcome menstrual poverty and discrimination, as well as promoting local revitalization through watching the movie. In the second half of the class, we will invite experts from various fields to analyze the film from different perspectives and engage in discussions with the students.

These women are forced to isolate themselves from society and even lose education opportunities. This class explores why there is still such discrimination in the human society in the 21st century by combing through the news reports on real-world incidences over the years and discusses about the perspective of different civilizations in the world. 第10週	4/26	10.月經行動林薇（月經平權非營利組織小紅帽創辦人）洛杉磯奧克伍德高中的學生在一次校外教學中，得知高達3分之1的印度女孩因為買不起衛生棉、學校沒有獨立女廁可更換衛生棉等因素，在月經來潮期間只能待在家中，許多和她們年齡相仿的女孩，更再也沒能回到學校，使這群菁英高中的學生深受震撼。在教師的鼓勵下，她們在網路上發起「衛生棉計畫」，募集資金把「護墊俠」研發的衛生棉製造機，送到印度北方的農村，還找來紀錄片導演，為學生們的行動留下紀錄，《月事革命》，在2019年奧斯卡獎得到最佳紀錄短片獎。面對月經貧窮／月經歧視，台灣年輕的一代能做些什麼？本堂課邀請到台灣投入月經權益/教育非營利組織小紅帽的創辦人林薇現身說法，看看台灣的月經行動的現況。 Reference Reading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Period._End_of_Sentence https://csr.cw.com.tw/article/41912?from=search?utm_source=fb_csr&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=fb_csr-social-daily https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVapSvAGE5c ------- Period Actions in Taiwan Vivi Lin (With Red) Students at Oakwood High School in Los Angeles learned in an off-campus teaching that up to 1 in 3 Indian girls can only stay in during menstrual periods because they cannot afford sanitary pads and the school does not have a separate women's toilet for them to replace sanitary pads. Many girls of their age have never been able to go back to school, which shocked the students of this elite high school. With the encouragement of teachers, they launched the "Pad Project" and raised funds to send the sanitary pad manufacturing machine developed by "Padman" to the rural areas of Northern India. A documentary film "Period. End of Sentence" to document the entire action won the Best Documentary Short Film Award at the 2019 Academy Awards. In the face of menstrual poverty/menstrual discrimination, what can the younger generation in Taiwan do? In this class, Vivi Lin, the founder of Little Red Hood, a non-profit organization devoted to menstruation rights/education in Taiwan, will share the current situation of menstrual action in Taiwan.
